Renaming the C:\windows\softwaredistribution\download folder. Tried updating Windows using a cleanboot via turning off non-Microsoft services using MSCONFIG. It currently has Windows 10 Pro version 20H2, but whenever I try to install the update to 21H1, it always freezes at the point where the update says "working on updates 48%. I have successfully been able to update all of our family computers to Windows 10 version 21H1, except for my Dell Latitude E6440 laptop, which is being very stubborn. **** Edited - I was finally successful in upgrading to Windows 10 Pro version 21H1 please my subsequent post in this forum message thread.
